This area below is part of the bistro and at the rear of the bar, so comfy and elegant. The bistro is open 12pm to 6pm except on Sundays and serves a nice range of light bites and sandwiches as well as some real classics such as sausage and mash.

The sandwiches were very traditional with chicken, ham and salmon. We would have loved something such as a mini slider or a filling with spicy vegetables to give a bit more wow factor. We listened to the expert advice of our waitress to be served the scones warm after we had finished eating all the other treats. A lovely creamy and luscious way to finish the tea.
